Life Story
I was born and raised in Victoria, BC, but my family moved to Dublin, California when I was 15 years old.

I grew up in a Christian home, but my faith didn’t become personal until I was 18. From the age of 13, I pulled away from faith, struggling with depression, suicidal thoughts, and anger toward God over painful events in my life. I searched for joy in worldly things but always came up empty—until the end of grade 12, when my youth pastor and his wife showed me the love and grace of God that I desperately needed. That’s when I gave my life to Christ.

After high school, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do, so I pursued a degree in the automotive field. Over time, I realized this wasn’t the right path for me. Through prayer and reflection, I began sensing a call to youth ministry, especially as I discovered a passion for serving while volunteering in my church’s youth group. That passion led to an internship, which eventually turned into 10 months of vocational ministry.

At the end of 2020, I moved back to Canada. Not long after, I met my wife, Michelle, and began attending King Road. It’s been a blessing to serve here in both youth and tech ministries—first as a volunteer, and now as Director of Middle School Youth Ministry and Tech Coordinator.
My Hope for King Road Church
My hope for King Road is that we would be a church that seeks to raise up the next generation of disciple-making disciples—faithful to the Word of God and allowing it to shape every aspect of our ministry.
