Position: Part-Time

King Road Church is a well-established church in the BC Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches, located in Abbotsford, BC.

 

We are in search of a Tech Production and Web Design Coordinator. The successful candidate will have experience mixing audio in a live church setting, have a comprehensive knowledge of live-stream and video production, and may also have skills in website maintenance and graphic design.

Tech team management

Duties will include:

  • Being present on Sunday mornings to assist and supervise Video, Audio, Projection, and Lighting volunteers. 

​

  • Working closely with the Lead Pastor and/or Worship Pastor to ensure the delivery of the intended vision behind the aspects of the service are conveyed. clearly and effectively both in the room and online through the use of A/V.

​

  • Training and scheduling audio, video, lyrics, and lighting crew members.

​

  • Understand and maintain the audio/visual systems at King Road including but not limited to the maintenance and upgrades to existing equipment, and staying within annual tech budget parameters in correspondence with the Worship Pastor.

​

  • Building a culture of comradery and clear communication between tech, video, lyric, lighting, and worship teams. 

​

  • Maintain the church website and create graphics for the church as needed.

​

  • Being a tech resource for King Road’s multi-lingual services and funerals, especially in regards to training and equipping. 

​

  • Attending relevant staff meetings.

Requirements:

  • Education or experience that will allow carrying out the above duties.

​

  • Understanding of and experience with audio and video systems for live and online production.

​

  • Proficient in Canva.

​

  • Familiarity with Wix and Adobe is considered an asset.

​

  • A commitment to being a team player who excels in supporting and assisting others with integrity and humility.

​

  • Affirms the MB Confession of Faith.

Wage commensurate to training and experience.
